Jenny Apostol is a writer, an Emmy Award-winning nonfiction television producer, and a Spanish to English literary translator. Her essays and poetry have been published in The Washington Post, Brevity, Speculative Nonfiction, Creative Nonfiction’s "Sunday Short Reads," River Teeth Journal’s “Beautiful Things,” Blood Tree Literature, Flatbush Review, Haibun Today, and Rain Taxi Review of Books. Another of Jenny’s essays was a finalist for the Annie Dillard Prize at Bellingham Review. She earned an MFA in creative writing from the Rainier Writing Workshop, at Pacific Lutheran University, and is working on a lyric memoir.
In addition to her literary projects, Jenny is a freelance executive producer and documentary script writer on productions for Nat Geo/Disney networks, where she worked for 24 years.
